A Case of Adenoacanthoma of the Thyroid Gland

Abstract

|
|
Adenoacanthoma of the thyroid gland is a rare tumor which has. squamous and glandular components. In the world medical literatures, four similar cases were reported. Englisch and Slany reported the first in 1936, Ross (I) the second in 1947, Halpert and Thuss (2) the third in 1950, and Cocke and Carrera (3) the forth in 1964.
We add a case of Adenoacanthomas of the thyroid gland as the fifth case. These five Adenoacanthomas were analyzed with the review of the world medical literatures.
